Each seller sets up their own shipping profiles, which determine where they can deliver, how much shipping costs, and estimated delivery times. When you add items to your cart, shipping fees are calculated based on the seller's shipping profile and your delivery address. If your cart contains items from multiple shops, shipping is calculated separately for each shop. This means you may see different shipping costs, delivery estimates, and available services depending on which sellers you're buying from.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are set by each seller and typically include a base shipping cost plus a handling fee. These fees are displayed in your cart summary before checkout, broken down by shop so you can see exactly what you're paying. Some sellers offer free shipping on their products — this will be clearly indicated on the listing and in your cart. Shipping costs may vary depending on your delivery location, the size and weight of the item, and the shipping service used. All fees are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are calculated automatically when you select your delivery address.
Delivery Coverage
Khoomi connects buyers and sellers across all 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory. However, each seller determines their own delivery coverage. Some sellers ship everywhere in Nigeria, while others may limit delivery to specific states or geographic zones — South West, South East, South South, North Central, North East, and North West. When a seller cannot ship to your location, you will be notified in your cart before checkout. We recommend checking delivery availability by adding your delivery address before completing your purchase.
Delivery Estimates
Each seller provides estimated delivery times on their shipping profiles, shown as a range of days (for example, 3–7 business days). Delivery estimates include processing time, which is the time the seller needs to prepare and dispatch your order, plus transit time with the shipping carrier. Actual delivery times may vary depending on your location, the shipping service selected, and factors beyond the seller's control such as weather, public holidays, or carrier delays. You can view estimated delivery times in your cart and on the order confirmation page.
Shipping Services
Sellers on Khoomi use a variety of trusted logistics providers to deliver orders across Nigeria. Shipping rates are calculated dynamically at checkout via Shipbubble, giving you real-time pricing from multiple carriers. The available shipping options depend on the seller's location, your delivery address, and package details. Where tracking is available, sellers are expected to provide tracking information so you can follow your order's progress. The specific carrier and service used will be communicated by the seller after your order is dispatched.
Returns and Exchanges
Return and exchange policies are set individually by each seller on Khoomi. Some sellers accept returns within a specified period, while others may offer exchanges or neither. Each seller's return policy, including the return window and conditions, is outlined in their shipping profile and is visible on the product listing page. If a seller accepts returns, you are generally responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or significantly different from the listing description. We encourage you to review the seller's return policy before making a purchase.
Order Issues
If your order arrives damaged, is missing items, or does not match the listing description, please contact the seller directly through the platform's messaging system to resolve the issue. Most sellers are responsive and willing to work with you on a solution. If you are unable to reach a resolution with the seller, Khoomi's support team can step in to help mediate the dispute. For orders that have not arrived within the estimated delivery window, we recommend reaching out to the seller first, as they can check the status with their shipping carrier and provide updates.
